Electrowelding Of Metals We make electrowelding systems that work metal for mesh, grates and lattice girders at B&W in Buja. Electrowelding is a welding method that uses electrical energy to join same or different parts of a metal. This is a technique that joins metal pieces by heat, pressure or both, with or without the addition of a filler metal. The main types of welding are: autogenous welding and heterogeneous welding or brazing. Autogenous welding can be done by fusion or by pressure with or without filler metal; heterogeneous electrowelding on the other hand is done by fusion with a filler metal. Depending on the type of method and heat source used the main welding procedures can be divided into: gas welding - which can be oxy-acetylene or oxygen-hydrogen welding - electric arc welding, resistance welding, spot welding, roller welding, flash welding; thermit welding, cold welding, forge welding or hammer welding, ultrasonic welding. In particular, at B&W in Buja we make complete electrowelding systems for mesh and grates, complete welding systems for lattice girders but also for cylindrical cages. |
